Today, the current status of “Black America” may be in its toughest position in years. Furthermore, the condition of African American youth is suffering in an even deeper fashion. All over the news is coverage of violence, crime, and dilemma that only proves that the black community is in great need of change.

Kaneal Williams, from our first Fashion feature “Plus Sized Models with Plus Size Success”, has taken a break from the modeling career.  She recently gave birth to her first child, Niya Mechell Joyce!  Kaneal says that she has learned what it means “when life comes to a screeching hault…but it’s not over!”  Kaneal hopes to continue her modeling career when the time is right again.  AMADI congratulates her on her new addition and wishes her much success in her future modeling endeavors!

The Drumatiks production group and their artist Pol-B teamed up with the legendary Don Cannon to release Pol-B’s first mixtape, Clocked Out Volume 1.  It features the song “Hey Baby,” a track that AMADI was given to feature in the Drumatiks story back in June.  AMADI is definitely on the forefront of bringing you DMV’s local talent FIRST.  Even Reggie Bush and Chad Ochocinco are tweeting about this mixtape!

These days Henry Jose is doing photography and video editing in Los Angeles for A&G Rock and Couture.  He has also recently completed production on a comedy web series entitled “Look What Chu Did.”  AMADI will be sure to give an update when that project is released!  In the meantime, checkout photos that Henry has taken for A&G Rock and Couture.  This is the same company that makes Ed Hardy.  Nice!
